Plug-and-Play Installation
Give your home or home office the features of a sophisticated telephone system without the high price tag. Panasonic Multi-Talk cordless phone systems operate via cordless transmissions, so no expensive (and messy) wiring or installation is required. Simply hook up the base to your phone lines and plug it into an AC outlet. Then, all you have to do is set up the included handset where you want it and plug in the recharging stand. Up to 7 more optional handsets can be added to the system, either right away or as your needs grow. It's that simple!
2.4 GHz Frequency-Hopping Digital Spread Spectrum (FHSS) Operation
Operating on the ultra-clear 2.4GHz Frequency Band and using Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) Digital Operation*, this multi-handset telephone system transmits or "spreads" its signal over many frequencies per second helping to assure a private conversation. Panasonic's 90-channel auto scanning system will automatically scan available channels for the next clear available channel before the user even initiates a call. FHSS technology also improves calling range and clarity.
* Panasonic cordless phones make and receive calls within a range determined by maximum power allowed by FCC rules. Range depends on local reception conditions.
1-Line Operation
Accommodates up to 8 Cordless Handset Stations
This system comes with a base unit and one cordless handset. Add up to seven additional handsets anywhere in the house while using only one base unit and one phone jack. This eliminates the need to rewire your phone line to other parts of the house.
All-Digital Answering System
An advanced microchip records up to 15 minutes of messages and makes retrieval easy. Flash Memory Message Backup records messages in flash memory so they're unaffected by power failures or interruptions. A voice synthesizer prompts callers through the messaging system and identifies each incoming message for you with the time and day it was received.
Toll Saver
Allows you to check your messages while away from home and avoid toll charges. If the system answers on the first ring you have new messages. If it doesn't, you don't have new messages and can hang up before the call goes through.
Dual Caller ID* with Call Waiting - Base and Handset
Dual caller ID with call waiting lets you view the name and number of all incoming callers on either the base unit or handset LCD -- even if you're already on the line.
50-Station Caller ID* Memory and Dialer

Shows Call Status, Programming Options, Directory Items, and if you subscribe, up to 3 lines of Caller ID information, so there's no need for scrolling. Backlighting greatly aids visibility especially in low light areas.
