Listeners can even walk outdoors wearing the AW771 phones--no line of sight is required between the headphones and transmitter. Thankfully, the audio quality doesn't suffer from the wireless connection. In fact, it excels thanks to the 40 mm driver elements, which deliver rich, nuanced sound with deep bass highlights. The system also comes with an RF noise reduction system that minimizes noise and interference, so listeners won't be bothered by stray radio waves.
The AW771 includes a pair of dual swiveling ear cups, which adjust from side to side to fit almost any size of ear. The velvet padding also makes the cups comfortable to wear, as does the soft, self-adjusting headband. Should you own two 900 MHz devices, the AW771 transmitter offers a channel select switch that changes the frequency to accommodate both products. The phones also come with rechargeable NiMH batteries that power up when the ear cups are placed in the transmitting base.
