It brightens the object by reducing the frame rate on the LCD screen.

The PowerShot SD30 Digital ELPH includes a sleek new Camera Station that's functional and stylish at the same time. The Camera Station recharges the camera's battery at home or on the go, and allows image transfers to a PC, direct print functions, and AC-driven video output. Also included is a wireless remote control for playback and printing operations.

Also use the Print/Share button to transfer images directly to a computer (Windows and Macintosh).
