If you're ready to take the leap into DVD recording, take Canon's DC20 with you. This ultra-slim camcorder records to 8-cm DVD-Rs and DVD-RWs that last virtually forever. The 2.2-megapixel CCD in this camcorder is a step up from the DC10's 1.3 megapixel sensor. It captures video and still images in exacting detail.
The built-in still camera has all the features of a dedicated digital still camera. The USB 2.0 port and PictBridge compatibility make it easy to share pictures. You can edit your video with the included Digital Video Solutions software, and play them back with help from the included My DVD software.

• DVD Recording
Record your memories directly to DVDs. 8-cm DVD-RWs can be recorded on again and again without deteriorating, and DVD-Rs will make those memories last forever. A double-sided DVD can hold up to 120 minutes of video, depending on recording mode.

• Digital Image Stabilizer
Canon's advanced electronic image stabilizer smooths out rough shots by reducing shake and jitter. It even works during panning and zooming.

This camcorder is also a 2-megapixel digital still camera with the same performance and features of a standalone digital camera.
• Simultaneous Photo Record
Worried about missing live action because you have to take a still photo? Worry no longer! With the DC20 you can take stills and shoot video at the same time. The still is stored on the Mini-SD card and the video records to the DVD.
• Continuous Shooting
Continuous shooting is great for capturing stills of fast action. Hold the shutter button down to take 3 stills per second at full 1632 x 1224 resolution, or 5 frames per second at 1280 x 960.
• Photo Effects
Get creative with built-in effects. Vivid, Neutral, Soft Skin, Vivid, and Low Sharpening settings can establish dramatic moods in your photos or video.
• 9-Point AiAF
Canon's Auto Intelligent Auto Focus ensures crisp, perfectly focused shots no matter where in the frame your subject is.
• Program AE
Program Auto Exposure ensures that you get exactly the right settings for your shooting situation. Choose from modes like Sports, Sunset, and Spotlight, or create your own.
• Exposure Bracketing
With exposure bracketing, you never have to guess how your shots will come out. The DC20 automatically takes 3 shots with 3 different exposures: one underexposed, one normal, and one overexposed. From there, you choose which one looks best and the camera will adjust.
• Exposure Metering
For the advanced user, exposure metering allows a choice of center-weighted average, spot metering, and evaluative metering for exactly the right setting in any lighting.
• Mini-SD Card Slot
Shoot your photos directly onto compact Mini-SD cards, available separately. Mini-SD cards are half the size of standard SD memory cards and available in various sizes. Transfer your photos from the card to a PC or printer in a snap.

One push of a button is all it takes to print your photos or transfer them to your PC.
• PictBridge Compatible
PictBridge lets you move pictures between your camera, printer and computer with a simple USB connection from one device to the other.
